Mugrauer(Sellersville, PA) – Penn Foundation’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Wayne Mugrauer as the agency’s new Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Mugrauer will assume his position in September, replacing John Goshow who is retiring after 10 years as Penn Foundation’s President & CEO and more than 30 years with the organization.

Mr. Mugrauer is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Hospitals and Higher Education Facilities Authority of Philadelphia, a nationally-recognized municipal bond authority financing acute healthcare, long-term care, higher and secondary education, and community not-for-profit organizations. He also oversees The Healthcare Resources Foundation of Philadelphia, a charitable foundation organized by The HHEFAP to advance scientific and educational purposes.
Prior to this position, Mr. Mugrauer served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Friends Hospital, an acute care/academic psychiatric health system in Philadelphia. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of North Penn Hospital in Lansdale, Deputy Administrator/Chief Operating Officer of Penn Foundation, and Chief Operating Officer of Lenape Valley Foundation in Doylestown.
Mr. Mugrauer is an adjunct faculty member of Immaculata University and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He also serves on the advisory boards of various community organizations.
