Souderton, PA (July 21, 2010) – Almac’s new North American Headquarters has entered its final stages of completion, both structurally and logistically. The latest milestone is the acquisition of Building 1; half of the two-part construction project.
Building 1 is a three-story, 74,250 square foot office building that will house administrative teams from Almac’s Clinical Services, Clinical Technologies and Science business units. Key functional areas designed to enhance employee performance and meet customer needs are also located in Building 1, including a network operation center, meeting rooms, staff breakout areas, customer audit rooms, training rooms, learning lab and library and a packaging design room.
Almac’s $120 million investment will bring together its Clinical Services and Clinical Technologies business units under one roof, as well as host its Sciences business unit for the first time in the US.
Possession of Building 2, a partial two-story, 166,135 square foot building custom built for the production, analysis and distribution of clinical supplies, is expected in early August.
