Laura Haffner Allentown, PA- Wachovia, a Wells Fargo company, announced today that Laura Haffner has been named Community Banking President for the bank’s Lehigh Valley market. In this role. Haffner will be responsible for all retail banking activity in Wachovia’s Lehigh Valley market, which includes 39 stores across all of Lehigh and Northampton counties as well as parts of Bucks and Berks counties. She will report to David Miree, Wachovia’s regional president for Greater Pennsylvania and be based at the company’s regional headquarters in Allentown.
“Laura has a proven track record of success and brings a depth of financial services experience into this key role,” said Miree. “I know that under Laura’s leadership, we will continue to deliver outstanding service while focusing on providing financial solutions that help our customers in these difficult times.”
A senior vice president and 22 year company veteran, Ms. Haffner was most recently Service Director for the company’s Lehigh/Northeast PA region. A graduate of Leadership Lehigh Valley, she is a former adjunct faculty member of Northampton Community College.
Active in the community, Ms. Haffner is a board member of the Bethlehem Marketing Council and the Child Advocacy Center, Lehigh County; she is also a volunteer for Schoeneck Moravian Church, the Nazareth Area School District and Partners in Education, Learning For Life. Ms. Haffner is a graduate of Moravian College and lives in Nazareth with her husband and family.
