Unemployment extended

President Bush signed the Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2008 on Monday June 30, 2008. This new federal law provides for up to 13 additional weeks of Extended Unemployment Compensation benefits in all states. All affected claimants will be notified by mail over the next two weeks. The first date claimants can file through either PAT or the Internet is during the week of July 20, 2008.
